Welcome to Bailiwick Capital Partners. The following will provide some insight into our market focus and professional capabilities. We bring a unique skill set to our clients and partners who also target the foodservice industry.
Our goal is to help successful and passionate restaurant entrepreneurs find the right capital partner and thrive.
Our value proposition is bridging the gap between the worlds of restaurant operations and corporate finance. But, it’s our decades of real-world experience as operators and investment bankers – building brands, running restaurant chains in both private an public settings and advising top restaurant chains on strategy – our uncommon capability as financiers, bankers, operators, developers and investors that defines Bailiwick Capital.
The following represents the three areas of our business.
As Partner. Bailiwick Capital partners with private equity investors and family offices (Capital Partners) in their direct investment in restaurant chains. Emerging restaurant and specialty retail chains require more than just capital. They need an active support system that generalist equity investors cannot easily provide. The principals of Bailiwick Capital combine senior-level + entrepreneurial management experience and industry expertise with critical capital to deliver a total enterprise solution to promising young brands. Through this Partnership, we provide strategic, financial, operational and creative expertise and access to resources, to help diminish execution risk while increasing the value of portfolio companies.
As Agent. Bailiwick is a very unique company with experience working with a wide array of clients. We are dedicated to and passionate about the restaurant industry. Our clients are private equity investors and lenders, celebrity chefs, real estate developers, hotel operators, entrepreneurs, executive management, operators and developers.
As Principal. Bailiwick Capital operates as fund-less sponsor. In the world of mergers and acquisitions, the financial sponsor community plays a significant role in acquiring businesses, frequently competing with strategic buyers. The financial sponsor community is comprised of multi-billion dollar, institutionally backed funds, smaller institutional funds, pledge funds and fund-less sponsor like Bailiwick, who raise equity and debt capital for transactions on a deal-by-deal basis.
